I'm Elena Molchanova, a storyteller and a maker.
As a multi-disciplinary creative director, I have worked in branding, advertising, video & animation, graphic design, TV, event design & production.
I am comfortable creating with a wide range of tools — be it a camera, a paintbrush, a crochet hook, or a hammer. You are likely to find me writing my next novel in a coffee shop, editing videos in front of my screen at wee hours of the morning, setting up an immersive event at a secret location, knitting on the beach, or building camp at Burning Man.
I have lived in Russia, UK, Trinidad and Tobago, Indonesia, USA, Chile — before moving to Canada in 2017. After several years in Vancouver, I have recently relocated to Toronto and am looking forward to becoming a part of its vibrant creative community.

A fibre arts brand I founded in 2015 while living in Bali.
It specialises in made-to-order wearable art and home decor, designed and crafted by me. Crochet, knitting, embroidery, macrame, weaving, jewellery - all in the brightest colours possible!
