Visual Stuff
I have always been fond of making movies.
I edited my first videos while still at school, with a camcorder hooked to a VHS player for an editing suite. Animation was a self-taught side interest, which turned into a full-time job during my time at Saatchi & Saatchi in Trinidad. At the agency, I mostly worked with external production crews on medium to large scale projects but would love nothing more than to slapdash a quick BTS or a little staff party video for the team to enjoy internally. Although video & motion have not been at the forefront of my pursuits in recent years, I would still make an occasional video to document travels or promote a personal project, and you can find some of those here as well.
Illustration and graphic design have always been an integral part of the overall creative fabric of my work. I use my knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign to facilitate and support most of my activities, e.g. mocking up art installations, designing fibre-arts patterns, creating book layouts, and so on.
Generally speaking, all the aspects of my creative expression are interconnected in some shape or form.
